Every Trumba calendar that you publish automatically includes interactive events. With just a couple of clicks, site visitors can take actions that increase the likelihood that they will remember your events and attend them.
For example, site visitors can:
- Add events to their personal calendars.
- Set email and text message event reminders.
- Forward event information to friends.
- Arrange to be notified if events change.
Let's take a look at how event actions work. Suppose an outdoor enthusiast visits the Trumba calendar on the Pocono Record website to search for local activities. As the following picture shows, she locates a workshop about building your own personal survival kit. This is exactly what she's been looking for and she doesn't want to forget to attend. After selecting the event, the enthusiast clicks the Add to My Calendar button to add the event to her personal Google calendar.
In the event actions page that opens, the enthusiast selects her personal calendar type and quickly and easily adds the events to her calendar.
She also uses the handy Event Actions menu on the left to set up an email reminder, arrange to be notified if the workshop time or date changes, and to forward the event information to some like-minded friends.
