2013 YMM Canada Day!
Join us for the 2013 YMM Canada Day celebrations June 30 & July 1 at the Clearwater School Field on Hardin Street!
On June 30, Nexen CanadaROCKS 2013 will feature two-nights of stellar local, national and international talent to our region. Simple Plan headlines the night, with support from multi-award winning indie folk musician, Dan Mangan. From British Columbia, deejays Honeybee and Robbie Lovdub will be spinning fresh and funky west coast beats to get the party started when gates open at 4 PM, followed by popular local band, Friends of Jack, and other supporting acts.
Following the concert, the Syncrude Fireworks Spectacular show will amaze residents with a choreographed display of one of the best fireworks shows in Canada.
Residents can view the fireworks from the Clearwater School Field, or almost anywhere in the downtown core. The fireworks will be shot off from the Sandy Point of the Snye.
To continue the celebrations, the annual Canada Day parade will kick off July 1 for a FREE day of eve…
