Antique Mall Flea Market
General
When you see the one stop shopping center address of 11649 N. Cave Creek Road, the initial thought is that this cluster of shops must be out in Cave Creek. But, as old timers know and visitors soon learn, Cave Creek Road starts in North Central Phoenix and meanders north for many miles before it hits its namesake town. So, this collection of shops is just a tad south of Cactus Road (where it changes to Thunderbird Road), in North Phoenix. There are nine unique and fascinating shops ranging from small to large that have taken over the whole center. You can wander from store to store and find just about any style of vintage, shabby, antiques, collectibles and even new.
If Saturdays are your day for outings like this, mark your calendar for May 17th for the monthly Flea Market held in the center. They are fun and festive with good bargains to be found inside the shops as well as outside. Food and beverages are also available during the flea market.

Kundalini Yoga
Sports/Recreation
Kundalini Yoga places significant emphasis on specific breathing techniques combined with postures and movements. Breathing brings life force energy (prana) into the body. When the breath is shallow mental and physical imbalance occurs. Symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, mind chatter, and fatigue are all created when the life force energy of the body is not properly harnessed and directed. The techniques of Kundalini Yoga train the consciousness to work with energy and breath so the Life Force Energy can be properly harnessed and directed. Kundalini Yoga also combines mudras (hand positions) that balance the body’s energy along with postures, Kriyas (movements) and meditations. Combining all these aspects leads to very powerful results.

Having only recently become a Sedona resident, California native Lily Ann has been dubbed “best technical director” by The Los Angeles Times as well as heralded by The Hollywood Reporter as “an outstanding musical scorer” for her work on the legit stages of Los Angeles.
