Come join us as we create a youth group experiences for Foster Teens throughout Orange County. We meet in the Student Center in room 2 at Mariners Campus. We start with a huddle going over what the event and small groups will look like. Then we do an activity, go into a lesson, breakout into small groups, and then eat together. We have a brief debriefing and do it all over again next month!

Join our volunteer team at Fristers in support of young moms, ages 13-25, and their children. Provide transportation for a mom who could not otherwise attend, help in childcare by holding and rocking babies or playing with toddlers, provide a dinner monthly or quarterly for our group, help with administrative needs and set up, participate in our four celebrations (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, End of Year Party) by bringing in a food dish or beverage, helping with decorations, gifts, etc.

Estado 29
Estado 29 is a home for orphan children in Baja, Mexico near Ensenada. It is a safe place for over 90 children who have been abused, abandoned or given up due to the effects of poverty. At Estado 29 children are given a fresh start and the opportunity to grow up in a nurturing environment and learn about the love Jesus Christ has for them. It is that love which eventually leads many of them to a relationship with Christ.
This trip is limited to the first 6 volunteers
Each month teams have the opportunity to spend Saturday playing, encouraging and or working on a project with the kids at Estado. Help prepare dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday with the kids and send them off to church.
Cost: $70 ($35 for children under 14). Government issued birth certificate and photo ID or Passport required for travel to Mexico! You will also need to bring money for breakfast on the way down and lunch on the way back.

What is the Mariners Health Fair & Clinic?
Serving people in Orange County without access to basic health care by providing health assessments, services, education and connection to local resources. Over 2000 event attendees will complete an initial health screening and assessment by 20 organizations in the Mariners Church Community Center before being directed to specific onsite mobile units to receive treatment, referrals, education and other resources. Services will be provided on a walk-in, first-come/first-served basis, regardless of economic condition or religious or church affiliation.

Baja Christian Ministries (BCM) has been serving the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in Mexico for more than a decade. The statistics prove the need: 40% of the population in Mexico lives below the poverty line. In just one weekend a team can build a deserving family a brand new home in Rojo Gomez, a village that Mariners has recently adopted.
Depart: Friday, 6p from Mariners Church campus & Return on Sunday, generally between 5 and 7pm.
Cost: $195 for adults 18 & over, $75 for children 12-17, Free for children under 12.
Travel Documents: Are required for entry to Mexico. You WILL need a passport.
The home cost of is ONLY $6,000. The team will collectively raise support for the cost of the house they will be building. Each team member is encouraged to send out support letters to friends, family, co-workers, even to their local Barista! Outreach can provide samples and simple instructions...it's easy.

Serving the poor is not an option; it is not a check box on our to-do list it is the heart beat of who Jesus is. Our Faith Adventures to Haiti are intense, physically demanding and emotionally challenging. Buildings are still in disarray, people are living in tent/tarp cities and people everywhere need help and support. These trips will be medically based and will be focused on those who need medical attention.
