Reflections @ Jericho
Reflections was started in 2006...Frank playing 12 string. "He writes most of our music. He uses open tunings and because of a knife injury when he was young, only has full use of his thumb and two fingers on his left hand. Two fingers are very stiff because of tendon damage. Thus the sound is unique and his own, a gift from God, born out of an unfortunate event that he has since grown above." Karen joined Frank on vocals in 2008 and later in the year they were married. In 2009 Mark joined Reflections playing bass and acoustic guitar. He came to listen one night and liked it so much he asked if he could join the group. Michael, a missionary from Uganda, started with the group in mid 2009 adding special sounds and rythms in an African flavor.

California Duck Days, the annual northern California wetlands festival, will be held all day Saturday, February 20th, at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters in south Davis. This family- oriented event is sponsored by the Yolo Basin Foundation.
There will be 20 field trips to sites throughout the region, including Central Valley Raptors, the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, and the all-day Mystery Bird Trip.
Workshops will be held throughout the day and include duck calling, bird box building, and a live bat workshop. The Duck Days Exhibit Hall will have interactive displays from area environmental organizations. The crowd pleasing Mallard ducklings will be on display, as well as live raptors. Food will be available for purchase throughout the day as well.
The popular kids fishing activity will be back! Children may fish for trout in the on-site pond and then have their fish cleaned and packed to take home.

Music Never Stops Foundation is hosting its first of eight 2010 Winter Jazz Series fundraising events in support of music education.
Music Never Stops Foundation (MNSF) is a scholarship program for low-income family children under 18 years of age.
Its mission is to provide children with equal access to music education & instruments regardless of their financial situation by granting scholarships to needed recipients.
