International Green Industry Hall of Fame - Conference & Ceremony

The mission of the International Green Industry Hall of Fame, also known as IGIHOF, is to recognize individuals and organizations for excellence and outstanding achievements in the green industry.  We are proud to recognize over 35 nominees from green industry at the 5th Annual Conference and Induction Ceremony.  This year's theme is "The Water Nexus" which includes an expert panel discussing challenges and solutions for industry. Sustainable Quality Awards (SQA) Luncheon

The SQA was created to recognize businesses in Santa Monica working toward making significant achievements in sustainable economic development, social responsibility and stewardship of the natural environment. The event, Lead sponsored by Morley Builders and LAcarGUY, showcases sustainable bites during an active networking hour from local restaurants.  Eric Corey Freed is this year’s scheduled speaker. 7th Annual Mar Vista Green Garden Showcase

This Earth Day celebration, presented by the Mar Vista Community Council, seeks to empower Angelenos to adopt environmentally conscious living solutions. With many people walking or biking their tours, there is a tremendous sense of community as garden enthusiasts from throughout Southern California join our neighbors to celebrate our shared vision for a greener life. Each year, we feature different areas within Mar Vista. This year there are five walkable garden clusters in Mar Vista Community Council zones 4, 5 and 6. This is a curated show.
