Description: Come and help perform habitat restoration on this wooded hillside, and enjoy the stunning views of Mount Davidson, the Sunset District, and the Pacific Ocean. Red-tailed hawks hunt in the area and are frequently spotted nesting in the pine trees. National AIDS Memorial Grove On-going Volunteer Project
Description: In 1988 a group of San Franciscans began the task of creating a space for those devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Volunteers worked in the grove to create the remarkable meditative space it is today. Their work continues monthly to maintain the large body of work done on the grove and plant native plants. Description: In 1988 a group of San Franciscans began the task of creating a space for those devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
