Classes/Workshops U.O.P./Pacific Rowing has a community based rowing program called Deep Water Rowing Association. (DWRA) started in 2007 as a registered organizational member of the US Rowing Association, and is a program of Pacific Rowing, a department housed within the Student life division at the University of the Pacific. Deep Water Juniors is a community based, competitive club program open to high school students in the greater Stockton area. In the fall of 2008, DWRA was recognized by US Rowing’s executive director for its commitment to accessibility, affordability, and diversity, and accepted a nomination to and join a national task force to promote greater opportunities for under represented Stockton community athletes in our sport. DW Junior’s program fees are some of the lowest in the United States.
