Graduate, Extended and Online Events Brooke Palkie is an Assistant Professor within the Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM) Department at The College of St. Scholastica. Her content focus is on Clinical Quality Management and Clinical Classification Systems. Brooke is currently involved with a HRSA grant funded research project, as a faculty content expert,that includes the standardization of data elements within rural hospitals to achieve the quality reporting requirements of meaningful use. Brooke is also responsible for successfully transitioning the College’s course curriculum to ICD-10 and has successfully completed the AHIMA Academy for ICD-10 as an ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer Certificate holder. She is also a member of the AHIMA Ambassador Program and has provided several general ICD-10 presentations for the purpose of helping organizations prepare for a successful transition.
