ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE 2010
Mac Behrs will be having their 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 17th @ 12:15pm.
The parade is sanctioned by the city of Sioux City. The Parade will start on 4th and Water Streets and end at Mac Behrs, where the St. Patrick’s Day festivities will continue.
Mac Behrs is accepting nominations for the Irish Person of the Year, forms can be picked up at Mac Behrs located at 1201 4th St. The registration deadline will be March 15th. The Irish person of the year will ride in their own float during the parade.
Anyone interested in having a float in the parade can pick up a registration form at Mac Behrs. There will not be a sign-up fee for participants, and the top three floats will win prizes. The registration deadline for the floats is March 15th.

What:
Walk MS has been a beacon of hope, inspiration, and financial support for the thousands of people living with multiple sclerosis. The North Central States Chapter MS Walks involves over 6,000 walkers and volunteers at the 14 sites across Iowa and North and South Dakota.
In Sioux City, Walk MS had a great year in 2009 with 151 registered walkers raising over $17,000. We hope to continue this trend in 2010, attracting 200 walkers and raising $21,000 for the Iowans living with multiple sclerosis.
When/Where:
On April 17, 2010 walkers will join at the Chris Larsen Park to help us move closer to a world free of MS.
How:
Participants walk individually or with a team of four or more people. There is no registration fee but as incentives for raising money, t-shirts are awarded for $100 pledges.
