Day of Restoration (Women's Wellness Retreat)
Day of Restoration
Women's Wellness Retreat
Come Join us and give Back to Miramont Castle a priceless slice of history that is in need. A day of Personal Restoration for Miramont's Restorations.
All too often as women, we find ourselves tending to the needs of others and forgetting to take care of ourselves and our own personal wellness. Please join us for a day of rejuvenation, reflection, and restoration where we will feed your mind, body, and spirit. This event is intended to be a laid-back and comfortable affair, where you will begin to reconnect with yourself, be challenged to make yourself a priority, and meet with other women to build a community of support. Let us fill you up, just as you so selflessly fill up those in your life.

American Red Cross CPR/AED (adult, child, infant) First Aid Course
CPR/AED (automated external defibrillator) Adult, Child & Infant; First Aid
Because you may one day have to save the life of someone you love. Sudden cardiac arrest claims 220,000 American lives every year. It can happen anytime, anywhere, to anyone. For every minute that cardiac arrest goes untreated, the chance of survival decreases by 10%. The best chance of survival is to receive life-saving CPR and defibrillation (an electric shock that can restore an effective heart rhythm) within the first four minutes of collapse. Whether you have to save the life of someone you love or the life of a stranger, we want you to be prepared. There is no age minimum required to attend a class. Whether you need to fulfill a specific work requirement or you are interested in learning skills for your personal interest, the Red Cross has a safety class for you. Gift Certificates are also available for any American Red Cross Course. If you are interested in a class in your area call Jeanette, she will schedule one in your area…

A Night of Bluegrass
On Saturday, November 14th Stargazers Theatre is hosting its first bluegrass concert. Performing will be three groups that know how to do bluegrass right.
Grass It Up is one of the best known Colorado bluegrass acts in the bizz. The driving force of this acoustic-based trio are David Jeffrey, Shannon Carr and Jon Bross. And while Grass It Up is most recognized as a bluegrass band, don’t be surprised if you hear a Jazz, blues or even celtic tune worked into the mix every now and then.
When listing to the music of Grass It Up, one understands that these three musicians have a respect and emotional connection to music that convey to their audience.
Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Bruce Hayes will also be taking the stage. An accomplished musician on mandolin, guitar, steel and for a amplified foot board of his own design, Bruce’s incredible fluidity in creating rich harmonic textures and rapid-fire riffs have brought him much attention.

Whether you have to save the life of someone you love or the life of a stranger, we want you to be prepared. There is no age minimum required to attend a class. Whether you need to fulfill a specific work requirement or you are interested in learning skills for your personal interest, the Red Cross has a safety class for you. 25th Annual Trees of Life Tree Lighting Ceremony
Celebrate life and honor loved ones at the Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care Trees of Life Tree Lighting Ceremony. We invite the entire community to join us in remembering those we love and those we have lost. Each of the Trees of Life is covered in lights, and behind every light is a story – a story of a loved one who shines on in our memories.
Loved ones’ names provided at the event will be read in remembrance. We will also pay tribute to the military and our local community protectors as we illuminate special red, white and blue trees in their honor.
The trees will be illuminated as we celebrate with family togetherness, community spirit, and complimentary refreshments.

Chuck Pyle in Concert with Special Guests Phil Volan & Joleen Bell
Performing at Stargazers Theatre on November 21st will be singer/songwriter Chuck Pyle. An accomplished songwriter, Chuck's songs have been recorded by John Denver, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Suzy Bogguss. While fans love his recordings, they adore Chuck's live performance. A nimble guitarist, critics say his sense of rhythm is more like a fine classical, or jazz, soloist, his songwriting musically sophisticated yet full of uncluttered space. The Chuck Pyle Finger-Style approach to guitar has distinguished him as a true original, earning him invitations to teach at such prestigious events as The Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and The Swannanoa Gathering. Chuck Pyle has won high praise from both fans and peers alike throughout an inspired performance career of over 40 years.
Opening for Chuck Pyle will be Colorado Springs own Phil Volan and Joleen Bell. This accomplished duo is well known for their beautiful acoustic arrangements and highly skilled fingerstyle guitar.
