The world's first classically-trained garage band, Time for Three defies traditional classification. World War II Event

Fort Clinch State Park will host a Memorial Day Weekend program on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 to honor the men and women who served in World War II. Visitors can explore military displays, view memorabilia and learn about the uniforms, weapons, vehicles and lifestyle of those who were part of the war during the 1940s. The park is open 8am to sundown. Admission to the park is $6.00 per vehicle at the front gate and $2.00 per person to enter the fort. Children under 6 are free. Type of Event: Education. 2013 Ed Gaw Amelia Island Open Water Challenge

The 2013 Ed Gaw Amelia Island Open Water Challenge consists of either a 1-mile or 5K swim. The swims run parallel to the beach and run simultaneously. There will be coast guard auxilliary boats, lifeguards, kayakers, EMT's at the event. There is a great breakfast after the event that you will love. Union Garrison

Held the first weekend of every month, the Union Garrison events feature living history interpreters, as they recreate life at the fort during the Civil War.  Visitors may see powder artillery demonstrations, medical demonstrations and soldier drills.  Garrison hours are 9am to 5pm Saturday, and 9am to 12:00 noon on Sunday. Goin Coastal Music Festival Featuring Zach Deputy

Jacksonville Triathlon Series Events

The Jacksonville Olympic & Sprint Triathlon Series consists of three events in Fernandina Beach, FL. With warm waters, a flat bike course and a fun out and back run, the series is a great race for both the new and experienced triathlete. The Sprint distance include a .25 mile swim, 17 mile bike and 3 mile run. The Olympic distance include a 1.5K swim, 40K bike, and 10K run. Each race is limited to 600 participants so register early. Union Garrison
