Casey Weston from “The Voice” headlines public event at Verandah Feb. 11

Music & Performances Casey Weston, a finalist on NBC’s hit show “The Voice” who hails from Southwest Florida, will headline a free event Saturday, Feb. 11 at Verandah, the 1,456-acre community located along a 1.75-mile stretch of the Orange River in Fort Myers. Weston will perform in Verandah’s Oak Park during “The Real Deal: Tastes, Tours and Tunes” event from noon to 3 p.m. Members of the public are welcome and will tour model homes featuring Florida-inspired food and drinks, receive free gifts and register for prizes. The tour culminates at Oak Park, where Weston will perform an outdoor concert as guests enjoy desserts from Verandah Club. "Jesus Goes to the Oscars: Christ in Film" - February Theological Study

Education Over the last hundred years Jesus Christ has been portrayed in a wide variety of ways in film. The first February offering, Jesus Goes to the Oscars: Christ in Film, will be held on three consecutive Wednesdays, February 1st-15th.
