Free Christmas Community Dinner

The Salvation Army will serve a free community Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The dinner will be held in the gymnasium at the Kroc Center at 405 Vermont Street. For those needing a ride, transportation will be provided to the Kroc Center. Meals will also be delivered to shut-ins. Those who need a meal delivered or need transportation should call The Salvation Army at (217) 231-5626 by 3:00 pm on Friday, December 19th. Donations of desserts are needed for the dinner. Please bring dishes in disposable containers. Marion County Ambulance Donation Drive

The Marion County Ambulance District will be holding a food/coat/toy/clothing drive and collection beginning on November 28th.
