Quincy Summer Food Service Program

Berrian and Washington School are the two main summer feeding sites. They are open all summer despite not having summer school. Lunch will be served from June 3rd through August 12th Monday through Friday for both Berrian and Washington. Art and Nature Together A.N.T. Day Camp for Kids

Campers will enjoy a variety of activities using different medias, techniques tools, and their own unique abilities. They will have the opportunity to learn about various plants, seed starting, and basic elements of art in an outside setting (weather permitting). Projects range from mini gardens or gnome/fairy homes to container herb gardens, and displayable art work. A camp shirt, garden/art journal and daily snack & drink are included. Raku Pottery with Jeremy Young

Material and Lab fee of $20.Raku ware is a type of Japanese pottery with unpredictable results and intense color that attract modern potters. The pottery is purely decorative and not food safe. Naturally Fit - Nature Hikes & Walks

Enjoy the beauty of nature at Argyle Lake State Park while hiking the trails or walking the park road as an excellent way to stay (or get) fit.  Distance will vary from 2-5 miles depending on participant preferences. Wii Wednesdays

Get your Wii on at the Quincy Public Library afternoon gaming program. Teens are invited to come and duke it out for the title of Wii bowler, tennis pro, dance queen and other Wii accolades. Every Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. the Wii cart will be set up in the Puppet Theatre. JWCC Ag Alumni Golf Outing Fundraiser

John Wood Community College’s Agriculture Alumni Association will host its 17th annual golf outing Friday, July 10, at Rolling Greens Golf Course in Mt. Sterling. The 18-hole, four person scramble will begin with registration from 11 to 11:45 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at noon. The cost is $200 per team. The registration fee includes golf, green fees, cart and an evening meal. Tournament and hole sponsors are also being sought to assist with the fundraising activity. The event is both a social gathering and a fundraiser for the association, which assists JWCC’s agricultural sciences programs with a variety of projects, including the student Ag club and livestock judging activities. The Star-Spangled Banner and the Struggle that Forged Two Nations

All American City Presentation Performance

Mayor Kyle Moore would like to invite Quincyians to Quincy University's MacHugh Theatre on Wednesday, July 15th at 7:00 PM to watch a live performance of Quincy's All-American City presentation. The event will be held to give the community a chance to watch the delegation perform live and to raise money for Teen Reach, Chaddock and the United Way, the three agencies highlighted in the application. Vatterott College Summer Concert Series

The summer of 2015 just got hotter! From St. Louis to Memphis to Cleveland, Vatterott College is hosting its popular complimentary concert series, featuring performances from breakout new artists such as singer/songwriter Sarah Michelle, St. Louis rap artist Saint Oeaux, folk artist Monkh and St. Louis Riverfront Times Best Hop-Hop Group, Doorway. Quincy Summer Food Service Program

Berrian and Washington School are the two main summer feeding sites. They are open all summer despite not having summer school. Lunch will be served from June 3rd through August 12th Monday through Friday for both Berrian and Washington. Art and Nature Together A.N.T. Day Camp for Kids

Campers will enjoy a variety of activities using different medias, techniques tools, and their own unique abilities. They will have the opportunity to learn about various plants, seed starting, and basic elements of art in an outside setting (weather permitting). Wii Wednesdays

Get your Wii on at the Quincy Public Library afternoon gaming program. Teens are invited to come and duke it out for the title of Wii bowler, tennis pro, dance queen and other Wii accolades. Every Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. the Wii cart will be set up in the Puppet Theatre.
