AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run 2013

Join us for the 28th annual AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 to support AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, New England's oldest and largest AIDS service organization and their mission to prevent HIV infections, support those affected and tackle the root causes of HIV/AIDS. The Walk is 6.2-miles long and will begin and end at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston. There is neither a registration fee nor a minimum funds raised requirement in order to participate in the Walk. If you prefer running, register for the Athleta 5K Run with a 3.1 mile route along the Charles River. The 5K Run is a competitive, timed event, and is fully sanctioned by the USA Track & Field Association. The 5K Run is $25 to register. Bash Before the Dash for Big Sister

Join Big Sister Association of Greater Boston’s Young Professional Board as they kick-off another Running with the Bridesmaids at the Bash Before the Dash on Wednesday, June 12th at Back Bay Social Club! Last year’s Running with the Bridesmaids sponsored by Boston.com was an unforgettable spectacle as hundreds of former bridesmaids donned their “finest” and ran in all their sequins, sparkle, ruffles, and glory through the Boston Common to win prizes and raise nearly $6,500 and awareness for Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. This year, the Young Professional Board will be throwing a kick-off event at the Back Bay Social Club in anticipation of the second annual formal wear extravaganza and to help reach the 2013 goal of $25,000 raised! 6th Annual New Balance Heart Break Hill 5K Run & Walk to Benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children

Saturday, June 15, 2013 marks the 6th Annual New Balance Heart Break Hill 5K Run & Walk to Benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children! The event is a charitable 5K run/walk for participants of all ages, beginning at 9:00am at Boston College’s Alumni Stadium Gate E in Chestnut Hill, MA. The day also includes a Kids “Fun Run,” a 100-yard dash around Boston College’s Alumni Stadium. Registration will open from 7:00am to 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am with the Kids “Fun Run” at 10:00am. Following the race, participants and supporters are invited to celebrate at a party with food, music and prizes. Funds raised will benefit the Franciscan Hospital for Children, a non-profit pediatric hospital in Brighton. Boston NF Walk for the Children's Tumor Foundation

Register and join us at the Boston NF Walk for a fun-filled day with friends, family, and food, to help raise funds to find treatments and a cure to end neurofibromatosis (NF).
