William Greene and the Irish Reunion
Traditional Irish Music at the 4 Daughters
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration of food, drink and music!
4-9 pm, Monday March 17th
Local musician William Greene will be joined by musical friends from Hawaii, Seattle, and Chico for a not-to-be-missed evening of good times–Irish style! The group’s all-acoustic instrumentation includes various combinations of fiddle, tin whistle, mandolin, bouzouki, bodhran (an Irish drum), guitar, 4-string banjo, and vocals. In addition to the driving beat of jigs and reels, all of the band members contribute vocally to a pleasing assortment of songs, some of which may be done a capella (without accompaniment) or in rich multi-part harmonies.
Band members include: William Greene (fiddle, vocals); Curtis Vandeloop (4-string banjo, mandolin, guitar, whistle, vocals); Lawson Cannon (bouzouki, guitar, vocals), and Phil Harold (4-string banjo, mandolin, fiddle).
