Over the Moon Ovations: A Showcase for the Passions, Creativity and Wisdom of Women in their Fifties and Beyond
Women in their fifties and beyond are invited to share their authentic voices and their creativity for the sheer joy of personal expression.
The format for this monthly program includes 30- to 60-minute pre-scheduled presentations, 30 minutes of open stage or discussion and 30 minutes of socializing following the presentations. Scheduling is generally first-come, first –served, though exceptions may sometimes be made for a timely or seasonal topic. To take the “open stage,” just show up prepared to present for 10-20 minutes (Plan to adjust your time based on how many actually participate in this portion of the event.)
This program is supported by the Outreach Department of the Boulder Public Library.

This group uses books to guide learning about race and racism in America and provides a safe environment that encourages discussion. For most meetings, a guest facilitator is invited to provide additional knowledge about the book subject. The selection for May is Paul Kivel’s Uprooting Racism. This discussion group is offered collaboratively by the YWCA of Boulder County, the Reading to End Racism program, and the library.

Over the Moon Ovations: A Showcase for the Passions, Creativity and Wisdom of Women in their Fifties and Beyond
Women in their fifties and beyond are invited to share their authentic voices and their creativity for the sheer joy of personal expression.
The format for this monthly program includes 30- to 60-minute pre-scheduled presentations, 30 minutes of open stage or discussion and 30 minutes of socializing following the presentations. Scheduling is generally first-come, first –served, though exceptions may sometimes be made for a timely or seasonal topic. To take the “open stage,” just show up prepared to present for 10-20 minutes (Plan to adjust your time based on how many actually participate in this portion of the event.)

This group uses books to guide learning about race and racism in America and provides a safe environment that encourages discussion.
