16th Annual Bayou Fest

Summer Voices

Classes/Workshops Now in its third year, experience a vocal music camp for emerging musicians which will give students experiences in solo singing and vocal training, ensemble-based music-making, music theory, and special interest sessions which will enhance every student’s musicality. Within the camp, students will be placed into three age-based, developmentally-appropriate groups to give students the most optimal musical experience. This camp is designed to foster each singer's love of music, further develop vocal skills, and increase musical knowledge and understanding all within a fun and safe camp environment. The camp will culminate in a performance for friends and family. Music Technology Camp

Classes/Workshops Come and learn the basics of the recording and the digital music world with this introductory course in music technology led by Stephen Sands (Artistic Director). Students will be given hands-on experience with the software and hardware that professionals use to create, edit and distribute digital music.
