Contemporary Hispanic Market

For more than 25 years, the Contemporary Hispanic Market has showcased original artwork from New Mexico Hispanic artists in various mediums ranging from paintings to ceramics to furniture. This year’s event will be held July 25 – 27 on the Santa Fe Plaza. The 63rd Traditional Spanish Market

2014 Steamboat Springs All Arts Festival

The Fourth-Annual Alpine Insurance Agency Ed Fest, brought to Edwards by the team at Crazy Mountain Brewery, celebrates international craft beer culture with over 40 craft breweries tasting microbrews from around the world. Ed Fest promises summer fun for the whole community with gourmet bites from local restaurants and food trucks, wares from Colorado purveyors, and live music by the nationally-renowned North Mississippi Allstars. Ed Fest benefits the Eagle Valley Land Trust, a local nonprofit dedicated to conserving and protecting Eagle Valley’s natural spaces. SalsaFest

Salsa lovers unite the weekend of August 23 through 24 for the 6th annual SalsaFest on Main Street in downtown Las Cruces. Enjoy a weekend of salsa making, salsa music and dancing, as well as several competitions involving this savory sauce in which local chefs and budding salsa connoisseurs will compete. A Taste of Colorado

Hatch Valley Chile Festival

Head to Hatch for the annual Hatch Valley Chile Festival, August 30 and 31. The town that gives its name to this home-grown staple celebrates the harvest with chile and salsa cook-offs, mariachi competition and for those brave enough, a chile eating contest. The festival seeks to promote the local film industry while developing lasting relationships within the international film community. Other events shaping the festival include film workshops, galas, and screenings of more than 80 short and full-length feature films. Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta

The 24th annual Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta is a five-day event where 90 national wineries and 75 of the Santa Fe’s best restaurants converge to bring visitors an array of tasty experiences including cooking demos, wine seminars, winery luncheons and dinners. The fiesta ends with the Grand Tasting at the Santa Fe Opera where all participating restaurants and wineries sample their wares. One of the events, The SFWC Fiesta Live Auction raises money to sponsor culinary events in the community such as Santa Fe’s Cooking with Kids program and Santa Fe Restaurant Week.
