The Madison Middle School library located in Albuquerque is holding an online Titlewish fundraiser starting on January 23 and ending on February 17. 100% of the money this program raises will go directly to purchasing new materials for the school library.
The goal for this fundraising program is $2,000. This money will be used to purchase digital resources to help build the school’s eLibrary. The Madison eLibrary provides 24/7 access to books online. Students, teachers and parents can use these materials to supplement class work as well as reading for pleasure.

Journey through human emotions and art come to life, from the struggles of people forever falling up and down a wall to the joys of playing on swings at the swimming hole, from the isolation of grief to the highs and lows of love as expressed in a series of aerial tangos. Inspired by artists Auguste Rodin, Georgia O'Keefe, Winslow Homer, Erté Sharaku, and El Greco. Joining Artistic Director Debra Landau are Katy Bowen, Josh Burgess, Joanna Furgal, Daniel Garcia, Morgan Harris, Megan Jarmosevich, and Missy Juarez. The YWCA Middle Rio Grande's Women's Health program will be hosting a FREE Freedom from Smoking class series on Tuesday nights, beginning January 3 through February 14, 2012. Winter Gardening 101 (Silver City)
This workshop will cover the basics of winter clean up and maintenance in the garden. Soil building techniques such as composting, soil remediation and cover crops will introduce ways to build the health of your soil. We will go over basic tree pruning and grafting, and also how to extend your growing season.
