Local Author Series -- Gerhard Winkler and the Rogue Writers

Born in Berlin, Germany, Gerhard Winkler has used his experiences of the ravages of war and later encounters with the victors of WWII his writings. Winkler belongs to various writer’s organizations and has had essays and short stories published in several Chapbooks and Anthologies. He has been a member of the ‘Rogue Writers’ group for more than for fifteen years.
The Rogue Writers, a local writing group, produced their first book in 2004 and have published many books since. The author of two books, Gerhard has also been a member of the executive board of the North Shore Writer’s Association for many years.
