Kids Discovery Hike

History/Tours Experience the life of a soldier as you join in a 2 ½ mile hike from the Visitor Center to the replica soldier huts and then back again. While at the huts you’ll try your hand at musket drill and marching. When you return to the Wick House you can take on the challenge of some 18th century games that the soldiers played in camp. Theatre Pajama Game concerns the battle over a 7.5 cent raise between management and labor at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory. Amidst the conflict, a romance ensues between the new superintendent, Sid, and the leader of the Union Grievance Committee, Babe. Not surprisingly, their romance is all the more difficult given their opposing sides in the labor dispute. Theatre ‘The Adventures of Tom Sawyer’ is the Broadway adaptation of Mark Twain’s classic book. The story revolves around Tom Sawyer, a fourteen-year-old boy growing up in America’s heartland. Along the way, Tom and his friend, Huckleberry Finn, are witness to a murder at the hands of the evil villain, Injun Joe. Injun Joe tries to pin the crime on the town vagrant, Muff Potter. At the trial, Tom testifies against Injun Joe but Joe manages to escape. Years later, Injun Joe returns and tries to kill Tom. Menopause The Musical

Theatre The international hit show Menopause The Musical® has selected Morristown as a ‘hot’ national market and will play Mayo Performing Arts Center on June 5-6. It doesn’t necessarily mean women in Morristown are more prone to symptoms of “The Change.” It does mean they will find joy in sharing their experiences. Boonton First Fridays - Dogs On Parade

Music and sound has always coexisted with and been a source of inspiration for the visual arts. The "Sound & Vision" exhibit will explore this theme. Sal Canzonieri has produced and published two books comprised of art that had been created for Electric Frankenstein. The works featured in these books include art from the likes of such underground art legends as Derek Hess, Coop and Frank Kozik. The curators have assembled an impressive line up of artists. Industrial Heritage Tour: Mt. Hope Mine & Mineral Railroad

"Tell Me of Lincoln: The Story of Civil War artist James E. Kelly's quest to interview those who knew Abraham Lincoln"

History/Tours On Sunday June 16th Macculloch Hall Historical Museum welcomes author and historian William B. Styple for a Father’s Day presentation about artist James E. Kelly. Shortly after the Civil War Irish-American sculptor James Edward Kelly (1855-1933) made bronze portraits of over 40 Union Army generals. While the heroes of the war sat for Kelly, the artist interviewed them with intimate questions about the high points of their military careers, and the minute details of their notable battles. During Kelly’s series of interviews he spent time with those who personally knew Abraham Lincoln. Kelly recorded over 60 eyewitness accounts, a never-before-published oral history of the 16th President, which Kelly carefully preserved in his notebooks; detailing Lincoln's physical appearance, personality, and qualities as a statesman during a dark time of national crisis. Paragon Ragtime Orchestra

The Paragon Ragtime Orchestra is the world's only year-round, professional ensemble re-creating "America's Original Music" - the syncopated sounds of early musical theater, silent cinema, and vintage dance.
