Bus trip to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

William Morris lecture, with Kurt Henry

Library Events Kurt Henry presents a lecture about William Morris, celebrating the life of this international celebrity of the 19th century. While Morris may have refered to himself in a poem as “the idle singer of an empty day,” his physician diagnosed his cause of death as “simply being William Morris and as having done more work than most ten men.” The talk will explore the many accomplishments of this extraordinary man. Old Fashioned Day

Kids' Activities In celebration of the Walker Valley Fire Company 75th Anniversary there will be an Old Fashioned Day.  Free.  Participants in booths to demonstrate their "Old Fashioned" crafts, relics, antiques or wares. Friends of the Marlboro Library Book Barn
