With an in-kind contribution or donation from you, a day or evening becomes brighter and provides wonderful memories in days of uncertainty. Science Café Cleveland presents “What can that age-old disease tuberculosis (TB) teach us in 2016?”

Many around the world become infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the aetiologic agent of human TB, yet few become ill with disease. What does that observation teach us about how our immune system controls infections in general, about how immune failure causes disease and may promote antibiotic resistance, and about how to make our immune system better at controlling infections? Join the discussion with Dr. W. Henry Boom at this month’s Science Café Cleveland. Doors will be open 5:30 - 9:00 PM (Last call at 8:45PM). Presentation and discussion is 7:00-8:00 PM. Limited menu options will be available for purchase. Not to mention a full bar! Come early, get a good seat, grab a bite to eat and a beverage and enjoy the discussion! A chairlift is available by request. SPONSORED BY: C.W.R.U chapter of Sigma Xi, WCPN ideastream, and the Music Box Supper Club. Cost: Free. Monday, June 13, 2016, 7:00 PM.
