Explore the central role our national pastime has played in the identity of Jews and other minority communities. Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American was created by the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia and made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence. It is presented locally with support from Cleveland Indians, University Hospital Ahuja Medical Center and The Treu-Mart Fund. Connor B. Judge Foundation Walk

Submitted Registration for the 2015 NMOvement Walk is now open! The 1st NMOvement Walk will be on Saturday, August 29th from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM in Elyria, OH! The Connor B. Judge Foundation was formed in honor of beloved son, brother and friend Connor Judge, after he suffered a severe NMO attack that left him temporarily blind and paralyzed from the waist down. After two weeks in the neurology department of the Cleveland Clinic and 6 weeks of intense physical rehabilitation at MetroHealth, Connor recovered both his eyesight and ability to walk. However, he still endures daily pain throughout his back and legs, and many other complications from NMO. Most importantly though, his optimism for his recovery and ability to live life “normally” never waned. It is the positive outlook we hope to spread to others battling NMO, MS and other rare diseases, in our search for a cure. 60th Hungarian Scout Festival

Submitted Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or MRI, is one of the most powerful tools that clinicians can use to diagnose and understand diseases in the human body. However, MRI can often lead to nonspecific diagnoses, which can require biopsy or other tests before arriving at a solution. Join Mark Griswold this cafe in discussion of a new technique developed at CWRU and UH called Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting, or MRF, that may provide more specific diagnoses that could reduce or eliminate the need for further testing before making treatment decisions. Submitted For one night only, the best up and coming bull riders in the world will face foes nearly 10 times their weight during the most thrilling 8 seconds in sports. Each rider will face one bull in Round 1 and then the Top 10 scoring riders of the night will come back for one more ride in the championship round.
