Strongsville Relay For Life

A fun, family friendly event that celebrates those living with cancer, remembers those lost to cancer, and fights back to find the cure. After the opening ceremony, at least one member from every team is walking the track (usually in 1/2 hour to 1 hour shifts) throughout the event until the closing ceremony. The idea behind this is that cancer never sleeps. Also, the timing of the event is to illustrate the cancer journey. The dusk when you find out that you have cancer, the night when you journey through the uncertainty of your treatments, and the dawn when your treatments are over. This is the ACS's signature fundraising event which funds research to find the cure and programs for cancer patients and their caregivers. Their research and programs are vital in the fight against cancer. Contact Phone or Email: Joelle.kluck@cancer.org. Saturday, May 18, 2013, 12:00 PM – Sunday, May 19, 2013, 8:00 AM.
