Nia: Music-Inspired Conditioning Practice

Classes/Workshops Nia is a sensory-based movement practice for all body types, cultivating the joy of movement to integrate the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. No previous dance or movement experience is necessary. Nia blends nine specific movement forms from dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. A typical class may warm up with slow t’ai chi-like movements, then build energy in a playful jazzy style, reach an aerobic peak with kicks and punches, cool down with a modern dance flow, and end with yoga-inspired stretches and relaxation. Throughout the class, the instructor gives simple verbal or postural cues for the steps. Choreography is interspersed with non-structured movement for a blend of form and freedom. Nia: Music-inspired conditioning practice

Classes/Workshops Nia is a sensory-based movement practice for all body types, cultivating the joy of movement to integrate the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. No previous dance or movement experience is necessary. Nia blends nine specific movement forms from dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. Fundraiser at the European Touch Day Spa

Fundraisers The European Touch Day Spa was founded in 1993 and is proud to still be serving the Rogue Valley. Nia: Music-Inspired Conditioning Practice

Classes/Workshops Nia is a sensory-based movement practice for all body types, cultivating the joy of movement to integrate the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. No previous dance or movement experience is necessary. Nia blends nine specific movement forms from dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. A typical class may warm up with slow t’ai chi-like movements, then build energy in a playful jazzy style, reach an aerobic peak with kicks and punches, cool down with a modern dance flow, and end with yoga-inspired stretches and relaxation.
