Your Oregon, Your Health
Health
The YOUR OREGON, YOUR HEALTH series of community meetings will engage Oregonians in conversations about health care -- and good health -- and will provide important public feedback to the Oregon Health Fund Board.
The YOUR OREGON, YOUR HEALTH community meetings will be very dynamic conversations in both small and large groups about the issues of health care cost, quality, financing and access. Everyone’s voice will be heard through participation and facilitation by American Leadership Forum, and the resulting community feedback from across the state will help inform the Board’s work by giving voice to Oregonians from a broad geographic and demographic span about health care in Oregon.
The greater the public input, the more inclusive the plan, so please attend!

Two Polish émigrés arrive in New York City’s Lower East Side looking for their American dream. The cultural gulf they face as Eastern Europeans in America is revealed during a sleepless night three years into their new life. The variety of nightmares that Anka, a renowned actress in her home country who can’t find work on the New York stage because of her accent, and her husband Jan, who suffers from writer's block, experience are outrageously brought to life. “Hunting Cockroaches” was cited by the American Theatre Critics Association as an “Outstanding New Play” in 1986.
