Laurel Highlands Bluegrass Music Festival
Summary: Camping, great bluegrass music, fabulous dinners, music workshops...it doesn't get any better than this! The 11th annual Laurel Highlands Bluegrass Music Festival will feature top-notch national, regional and local bluegrass performers including Special Consensus, The Rarely Herd, Gooseneck Rockers, Bluegrass Mountaineers, Remington Ryde, Lonesome Highway, Blue Shades, and Border Ride. Festival proceeds benefit the Ligonier Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station #44. Venue: Ligonier Township Volunteer Fire Department Station #44. Price: Tickets for the weekend are $25 in advance (until June 15th) and $30 at the gate. Friday evening only is $15 at the gate and Saturday's all-day concert is $25. Kids under 10 are admitted free. There is no charge for attending Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday but donations to help the firemen are welcome. Detail: The camping area is convenient to the stage and the grounds with plenty of open, level camping available for campers, motor homes and tents. No electric hookups, but fire rings and fire wood will be available. Camping grounds open Wednes day and close Sunday evening. Plenty of day parking also available.
A craft and vendors show will run from noon to 7:00pm on Saturday, June 22, adjacent to the concert area.
