Designed with aspiring paleontologists in mind, Dino Mania features tons of fun activities, stories, songs, skill-builders and games
centered on the ancient creatures you love! Activities include: dino arts and crafts, learning the names of favorite dinos, making dino tooth necklaces, playing dino concentration, making a hatching baby dino, excavating tiny dinos, and more!
Science and technology are the stars in Engineer It! a camp that invites kids to design, invent, and build in a fun environment! Daily field trips to the University of Texas offer behind-the-scenes tours of the Chemical Engineering lab, Robotics lab, and the Nanoscience Center. Back at the Museum we’ll design a confetti launcher, invent contraptions to help the planet, use a zip line to hit a target, design a roller coaster with loops and curves, and much more! Baby Bloomers is a program for children ages three and under and their caregivers. On Monday mornings, the Museum is open exclusively for this age group only. Discover the Museum's exhibits in a relaxed atmosphere with other families with small children and enjoy special programming designed specifically for babies and toddlers, such as Little Explorers Lab, Storytime and Sing-a-long.

The Austin Children's Museum is closed to the general public from Noon-5pm every Monday except on AISD school holidays and during Summer Hours.
The Museum is OPEN every Monday for Baby Bloomers from 9am-Noon for children under the age of 3 and their caretakers ONLY.

No Tour Tuesday
The first Tuesday of every month is reserved for family visitors. ACM does not book school or group visits on the first Tuesday of every month. This limits the number of visitors in each gallery and provides a special time when children and their accompanying adults can learn as a family.
