Meet the Artist Behind the Book Sculptures

MEO Central In late 2014, someone anonymously donated sculptures made from books at each of Virginia Beach Public Library’s 10 locations. The mysterious sculptures captivated library customers, staff and the media for months. Now, the mysterious book sculptor has been revealed! Come hear award-winning local artist Maggie Kerrigan share her story and the inspiration for donating the book sculptures to VBPL. She’ll also share her process for creating the sculptures.
