1,000 Paper Cranes for Peace: Peace Education in Japan & the U.S. Today

MEO Central 2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. Social Studies Specialist Lisa Gibson of Virginia Beach City Public Schools visited Japan this summer to meet atomic bomb survivors and Masahiro Sasaki, brother of Sadako Sasaki the young girl behind the paper cranes for peace.
