Student Services For more than 37 years, the Capital City Farmers Market has been bringing local producers and customers from near and far together to create this eclectic community event. Over 50 vendors gather each Saturday, from May through October, to sell locally grown and made products, unique to Vermont and astounding in quality. The market is held in a large parking area, shaded by trees and bordered by the Winooski River, where there is plenty of room to mill about and enjoy the plentiful market offerings. Live music every week and special events throughout the season make the market a gathering place for Central Vermont residents. Fresh vegetables and fruits, quality meats, specialty cheeses, artisan bread, baked goods, ethnic foods, herbs, plants, flowers, arts and crafts, honey and maple syrup…the list goes on and on.  Join us and see how much Vermont has to offer! Do Good Fest- Featuring O.A.R. (Free Event!)

Student Services Mark your calendars for the Do Good Fest at National Life Group on July 18th! Montpelier Alive is excited to part of this great community event! National Life Group Guess who's coming to Do Good Fest 2015? O.A.R. headlines this year's festival. And The Alternate Routes is also on the lineup. More bands will be announced soon. And there will be food, family events, nonprofits and a beer tent. All on the lawn of National Life Group on July 18 from 3 to 9 p.m. Admission is free but there's a $10 per vehicle parking fee before 5 p.m. and $20 per vehicle after that. All proceeds benefit Branches of Hope, the cancer patient fund at Central Vermont Medical Center. Sponsored by National Life, The Point - WNCS FM, Seven Days, Harpoon Brewery, & Montpelier Alive.
