Latin American & Caribbean Inspired Brunch

Chef's Share Demo at Food Shelf (FWS Eligible)

Student Services Volunteer Opportunity at Woodbury Calais Food Shelf (FWS Eligible) This volunteer position is eligible for FWS pay at $10/hr. Please email jennifer.livingston@neci.edu if you are interested in volunteering for this position. The Woodbury Calais Food Shelf is looking for 1 or 2 students to provide a hands on demonstration as part of a Chef's Share initiative. As described below, "You will offer samples and copies of healthful, home-cooked recipes that can be prepared using items available at the food shelf so that visitors will be empowered to make them at home. As part of this initiative, you can have a significant influence on improving the health and well-being of people most at-risk for hunger and malnutrition in your own community." The student volunteer(s) will develop a recipe for a healthy snack or dish with ingredients found at the food shelf. Vermont Culinary Golf Classic

Public Events New England Culinary Institute Serves Up Two Courses: Golf and Great Food! 100% of net proceeds will provide scholarships to deserving New England Culinary Institute students. On Friday, June 21, 2013, friends of New England Culinary Institute will gather at Basin Harbor Club to support NECI Scholarship Fund in the Vermont Culinary Golf Classic. The tournament will be held in a scramble format with a shotgun start. The tournament is limited to 120 players. The invitation list includes major Vermont corporations, NECI suppliers, vendors, long-time friends and supporters. Student Services Volunteer Opportunity at Woodbury Calais Food Shelf (FWS Eligible) This volunteer position is eligible for FWS pay at $10/hr. Please email jennifer.livingston@neci.edu if you are interested in volunteering for this position. The Woodbury Calais Food Shelf is looking for 1 or 2 students to provide a hands on demonstration as part of a Chef's Share initiative. As described below, "You will offer samples and copies of healthful, home-cooked recipes that can be prepared using items available at the food shelf so that visitors will be empowered to make them at home. As part of this initiative, you can have a significant influence on improving the health and well-being of people most at-risk for hunger and malnutrition in your own community." The student volunteer(s) will develop a recipe for a healthy snack or dish with ingredients found at the food shelf.
