We've been running the Mattress Fundraiser across the county for over 11 years and have raised groups, just like the MPHS Football Boosters, over $15 million dollars! Custom Fundraising Solutions of Seattle is very excited about helping the Tomahawk Boosters again this year! Marysville is our home town so we love working with MPHS. Our kids graduated from MPHS 7 and 9 years ago and last year they earned over $5800 in their first annual sale. Documentary film-Santa Rosa: Odyssey in the Rhythm of Mariachi. Director Sławomir Grünberg will be present at the screening

Marysville Globe Santa Rosa is a documentary film about over 1400 Polish refugees from the Soviet camps in Siberia who in 1943 arrived in a Mexican ranch of Santa Rosa at the invitation of President Manuel Ávila Camacho. Santa Rosa became their home for a number of years to come. Mexico was the only country outside the British Commonwealth that offered assistance in solving the humanitarian crisis of thousands of Polish WW2 refugees displaced in temporary camps in Iran. After the end of the war and the closing of Santa Rosa colony, only 87 refugees returned to Poland. Most of them immigrated to the United States. Those who settled in Chicago set up the Santa Rosa Club and once a year they gather to reminisce the good old days to the sounds of music remembered from childhood. 53rd Annual Driftwood Sculpture Show

Marysville Globe It is time for our 53RD ANNUAL DRIFTWOOD SCULPTURE SHOW featuring over 100 sculptures displayed in a fine arts style. Sculptures are developed from "found" wood from river banks, beaches, forests and clear cuts. The weathered wood is cleaned, scraped of bark and old, dry debris, sanded through several grits of sandpaper, burnished with a deer antler and finished to a fine soft luster with natural waxes. The goal is to enhance Nature's beauty and development. No carving is allowed. This is a stunning display of an art form unique to the Pacific Northwest. The Northwest Driftwood Artists present this event with pride and according the LuRon Method developed by our founder over 53 years ago.
