Learn to Turn Wood

Make a bowl or candlestick holders as you learn the basics of wood-turning on a midi lathe. This is a bench-top lathe suitable for making small bowls, spindles and other small-diameter objects, such as finials. No experience is necessary. Wood and all tools provided. A $5 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.The first six people to register for this class will be scheduled for the times and dates listed. You will learn efficient methods to create stained glass art that Gregg has honed over his 30 years as a glass artist. Handel composed his Ode for Saint Cecilia’s Day in the short span of September 15-24, 1739, in London, to a poem by John Dryden. The score calls for flute, two oboes, two trumpets, strings, timpani, and basso continuo (here drawn from an assemblage of bassoon, cello, lute, harpsichord, and organ), plus soprano and tenor soloists and a four-part mixed chorus. World Religions Course

Do you enjoy philosophical discussions? Have you wondered why philosophies that teach peace seem to be mentioned with so many global conflicts?
