At Battle Point Park
Join us for a week of unique fun summer experience making new friends, learning outdoor skills, playing games, learning songs, craft making and "Let your Spirit Soar" at Bainbridge Island Battle Point Park. Bainbridge Island Girl Scout Day Camp has been providing for over 17 years with a wonderful experience for girls from 1st-6th grade in North Kitsap County under the guidance of trained volunteer adults and teen leaders (7th-12th grade)
Battle Point provides the perfect location for our 5 days of fun under the sun. Camp will run from 9:30am to 3:30pm each day except Thursday. Thursday, we will start at 2:00pm allowing the campers to eat dinner together and at 6:30pm parents are invited for an evening of entertainment provided by the girls. Younger campers (1st - 3rd) will be home after the evening event while the older campers (4th -6th) will spend the night at the sleeping in tents or under the stars, weather permits.

Learn Your Way Around the Night Sky: Introduction to Amateur Astronomy Class
Taught by PhD Astronomer David Fong, BPAA Education Director, and Steve Ruhl, BPAA president, this introductory course breaks universe into manageable chunks. Includes astronomy lectures, working with telescopes, and learning about the night sky. Topics include the art of observing, solar system objects, constellations, star hopping, planets, nebulas, galaxies, strange sky phenomena, astrophotography, and computer programs. Bainbridge Island Girl Scout Day Camp has been providing for over 17 years with a wonderful experience for girls from 1st-6th grade in North Kitsap County under the guidance of trained volunteer adults and teen leaders (7th-12th grade)
Battle Point provides the perfect location for our 5 days of fun under the sun. Camp will run from 9:30am to 3:30pm each day except Thursday. Thursday, we will start at 2:00pm allowing the campers to eat dinner together and at 6:30pm parents are invited for an evening of entertainment provided by the girls. Younger campers (1st - 3rd) will be home after the evening event while the older campers (4th -6th) will spend the night at the sleeping in tents or under the stars, weather permits.

Battle Point provides the perfect location for our 5 days of fun under the sun. Camp will run from 9:30am to 3:30pm each day except Thursday. Thursday, we will start at 2:00pm allowing the campers to eat dinner together and at 6:30pm parents are invited for an evening of entertainment provided by the girls. Join us for a week of unique fun summer experience making new friends, learning outdoor skills, playing games, learning songs, craft making and "Let your Spirit Soar" at Bainbridge Island Battle Point Park. Bainbridge Island Girl Scout Day Camp has been providing for over 17 years with a wonderful experience for girls from 1st-6th grade in North Kitsap County under the guidance of trained volunteer adults and teen leaders (7th-12th grade)
Battle Point provides the perfect location for our 5 days of fun under the sun. Camp will run from 9:30am to 3:30pm each day except Thursday. Thursday, we will start at 2:00pm allowing the campers to eat dinner together and at 6:30pm parents are invited for an evening of entertainment provided by the girls. Younger campers (1st - 3rd) will be home after the evening event while the older campers (4th -6th) will spend the night at the sleeping in tents or under the stars, weather permits.

Join Bastyr University at the annual Food and Herb Fair, with this year’s theme being “Everything Old Is New Again”. A free event that brings thousands of visitors to the Kenmore campus, the gardens are blooming and the campus forest buzzing with new life, it's a great time to soak up spring colors and learn about the endless uses of plants. Come hear great speakers, go on guided walks through the Bastyr gardens and surrounding woods, attend workshops and cooking demos, listen to music, and partake in relaxing herbal foot soaks and facials.

The 53rd Annual Rotary Auction and Rummage Sale is coming! The auction is a collaborative effort of over 1,000 volunteers like you. Together, we raised over $385,000 last year to support many projects in the community both large and small. A small portion of the proceeds also helps support projects such as clean water and sanitation in third world countries. Anniversary Show
Dan and Pat Howard, owners of Howard/Mandville Gallery, are celebrating 23 years as one of the premier dealers of fine art in the Puget Sound region. The gallery is known to collectors throughout the region and beyond for discovering exciting emerging talent as well as showcasing nationally acclaimed artists. This year’s show will feature several new works by each of the gallery’s roster of more than 50 artists and will open with a preview reception on Friday, June 7th from 6-8pm and run through July 7th.

Allied Arts of Whatcom County kicks off the 2013 Juried Artist Series with On the Edge featuring work from Andy Siebert, Ann Marie Cooper, Chris Shreve, Doug Forrest and Taj Williams. The opening reception will be held during the Downtown Art Walk, Friday, June, 7th from 6pm to 9pm.
On The Edge will be an exhibit of bold, loud colors and patterns in a variety of media all working together in a harmonious display of works that push the envelope. Painting, drawing, and clay are all tools for the expression of the artists.

Anniversary Show
Dan and Pat Howard, owners of Howard/Mandville Gallery, are celebrating 23 years as one of the premier dealers of fine art in the Puget Sound region. The gallery is known to collectors throughout the region and beyond for discovering exciting emerging talent as well as showcasing nationally acclaimed artists. This year’s show will feature several new works by each of the gallery’s roster of more than 50 artists and will open with a preview reception on Friday, June 7th from 6-8pm and run through July 7th.
Pat Howard says, “We are very excited to not only be unveiling new works of art this year but to also be unveiling a new look for the gallery. We will be completing a remodel with new walls, floor coverings and colors, just in time for the show.”.

Join us for a week of unique fun summer experience making new friends, learning outdoor skills, playing games, learning songs, craft making and "Let your Spirit Soar" at Bainbridge Island Battle Point Park. Bainbridge Island Girl Scout Day Camp has been providing for over 17 years with a wonderful experience for girls from 1st-6th grade in North Kitsap County under the guidance of trained volunteer adults and teen leaders (7th-12th grade)
Battle Point provides the perfect location for our 5 days of fun under the sun. Camp will run from 9:30am to 3:30pm each day except Thursday. Thursday, we will start at 2:00pm allowing the campers to eat dinner together and at 6:30pm parents are invited for an evening of entertainment provided by the girls. Younger campers (1st - 3rd) will be home after the evening event while the older campers (4th -6th) will spend the night at the sleeping in tents or under the stars, weather permits.
