Fairwood Golf and Country Club will be hosting the Seattle Women’s Golf Association’s 86th Annual City Championship starting Monday, June 17th.
The four-day tournament will begin with one day of stroke play before three days of match play, including a 36-hole day for the championship flight on the final day.

How might we apply those devices to game audio design? How might we focus in on sound as a strong storytelling agent? This workshop will take an in-depth examination of how we can drive deeper emotional resonance into our creations and push into new musical and sonic territories by focusing on the principles of audio aesthetics and artistic techniques from other media (whether it be painting, sculpture, literature, cinema, radio, etc.). How might we apply those devices to game audio design? How might we focus in on sound as a strong storytelling agent? Most importantly, how do we start thinking outside of the box and exploring unorthodox paths in order to create truly remarkable works of art?

Isaiah Thomas is presenting his 2nd Annual Elite Skills Clinic at the Issaquah Community Center. Come receive personal instruction from one of the greatest Washington Huskies of all time! Hone your skills with Isaiah and a collection of the area's best local coaches. Isaiah will be present for 12 hours of the 3 day clinic!
Isaiah will not just be stopping in to shake a few hands, he will be involved hands on during the entire clinic. Our coaches include current/former University of Washington players as well as other former college and pro players that have been coaching at additional Elite Sports Camps around the country.
Each camper will receive an official Isaiah Thomas Hoops T-shirt and a signed 8 x 10 photo. This event is for hoopers of all skill levels boys & girls from the ages of 6-16. Lower baskets will be available for younger participants.

This workshop will take an in-depth examination of how we can drive deeper emotional resonance into our creations and push into new musical and sonic territories by focusing on the principles of audio aesthetics and artistic techniques from other media (whether it be painting, sculpture, literature, cinema, radio, etc.). How might we apply those devices to game audio design? How might we focus in on sound as a strong storytelling agent? Most importantly, how do we start thinking outside of the box and exploring unorthodox paths in order to create truly remarkable works of art?

Dates: June 24-July 19 (No Classes July 4-5)

Location: Forest Ridge campus
Who: Open to any and all students entering grades 9-12
Fee: $850 (financial assistance available!!)
Supplies: Laptop Required
Credit: Forest Ridge Students who complete the workshop receive academic credit equal to a one-semester course.
This workshop will take an in-depth examination of how we can drive deeper emotional resonance into our creations and push into new musical and sonic territories by focusing on the principles of audio aesthetics and artistic techniques from other media (whether it be painting, sculpture, literature, cinema, radio, etc.). How might we apply those devices to game audio design? How might we focus in on sound as a strong storytelling agent? Most importantly, how do we start thinking outside of the box and exploring unorthodox paths in order to create truly remarkable works of art?

This workshop will take an in-depth examination of how we can drive deeper emotional resonance into our creations and push into new musical and sonic territories by focusing on the principles of audio aesthetics and artistic techniques from other media (whether it be painting, sculpture, literature, cinema, radio, etc.). How might we apply those devices to game audio design? How might we focus in on sound as a strong storytelling agent? Most importantly, how do we start thinking outside of the box and exploring unorthodox paths in order to create truly remarkable works of art?

This new event in downtown Bellevue will be held on the morning of July 4th, 2013 at Ashwood Park (right next to the Bellevue Public Library) and take participants on a jaunt through the streets of Bellevue. The registration and check-in process will open at 7:30am with the jog & walk starting at 9:00am. A dog meet & greet hosted by Shawn Stewart of KIRO 97.3 FM’s “It’s Raining Cats & Dogs” show will occur prior to the start and a costume contest, kids bouncy house, treats for dogs & humans and favorite local dog vendors will greet participants upon finishing.

This year’s show will feature several new works by each of the gallery’s roster of more than 50 artists and will open with a preview reception on Friday, June 7th from 6-8pm and run through July 7th.

Location: Forest Ridge campus
Who: Open to any and all students entering grades 9-12
Fee: $850 (financial assistance available!!)
Supplies: Laptop Required
Credit: Forest Ridge Students who complete the workshop receive academic credit equal to a one-semester course.
This workshop will take an in-depth examination of how we can drive deeper emotional resonance into our creations and push into new musical and sonic territories by focusing on the principles of audio aesthetics and artistic techniques from other media (whether it be painting, sculpture, literature, cinema, radio, etc.). How might we apply those devices to game audio design? How might we focus in on sound as a strong storytelling agent? Most importantly, how do we start thinking outside of the box and exploring unorthodox paths in order to create truly remarkable works of art?
