CK Super Saturday Garden Build

Would you like to help Seeds of Grace build a garden at KSS on CK Super Saturday to benefit the EaGLES program? On Saturday, April 18, we will be installing raised beds and vertical gardens to grow fresh fruits and vegetables that will be sent home with kids who need them the most. Radio Licensing Class

This FREE 2 Saturday radio class is for everyone with little or no radio knowledge and will give you everything to get an amateur radio license and into this very exciting cutting edge hobby. You can talk around the world on a radio that cost only $50. The VEC Test cost $15. Many families attend. There are 40 pages of handouts with 152 illustrations and many items to see, feel and handle. 5 instructors will answer your individual questions. There is over a 95% pass rate, and many pass the second level test also. Video songs and informative utubes makes this a fun class for all. Do something exciting for yourself this year. Soap Box Derby Race

The Kitsap Soap Box Derby Association will be running races on Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Poulsbo WA and the public is encouraged to come out to cheer on the racers or get information on how to get involved. The Soap Box Derby is a youth racing program which has run nationally since 1934. This is a unique program for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 that encourages close adult-youth activities while building and racing a gravity powered car together. Helping the youth learn good sportsmanship, spending quality time together, and having fun is what it is all about. We race on Dauntless Drive in Poulsbo, WA, located just below Olympic College’s Poulsbo campus at the corner of Olympic College Way and Dauntless Drive.
