4th Annual Kitsap County Genealogy Expo

The 4th Annual Kitsap County Genealogy Expo this year will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silverdale (9256 Nels Nelson Road NW), from 9 am until 4 pm. This is a free, family-friendly event open to the public. Twenty classes will be offered throughout the day, ranging in subject from DNA and Genealogy to Wills and Probates to Native American Records. There will be many family history exhibits as well. The presentations address many levels of genealogical expertise and are taught by local and regional individuals with extensive experience and passion for what they are teaching. Video presentations from the most recent RootsTech Conference held in Salt Lake City will also be offered. This year there will be several new family activities to enjoy. Miss Fil-Am 2016 Pageant

The Filipino-American Association of Kitsap County is in SEARCH for contestants to compete in the Miss Fil-Am Pageant 2016 that will be held on May 14, 2016 at the Filipino-American Community Center in Bremerton. Our goal is to choose a young lady of Filipino-American heritage of good moral standing, active at home, in school and in the community who will be a role model for the youth as she represents the Filipino-American community.
