Lawrence University Jazz Ensemble Concert

Neenah Menasha Kiwanis Pancake Fest

The 60th annual Neenah Menasha Kiwanis  Pancake Fest fundraiser will be held Thursday, May 26th, from 10:00am to 1:30pm, and again from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at Riverside Park in Neenah. The Kehtekaewak 'They Eat Food' Farmers Market started in 2014 as the only farmers market on the Menominee Reservation. Lawrence University Percussion Ensemble

The concert showcases a diverse range of music, including “Portico,” a percussion standard that incorporates instruments from marimbas and vibraphones to bells and timpani, as well as works from Ghana, Cuba and Brazil. The 2016 Waupaca ALS Benefit Ride has many new and exciting changes this year. Bridging Our Community

Father Carr’s Bridging Our Community is walking across the Lake Butte des Morts Bridge to celebrate the community and raise money for Father Carr’s Place 2B. Set on the Team Leadership Center's 80 acre turn-of-the-century dairy farm in Door County, WI, this course will test your mental and physical strength, endurance, creativity, and skills in teamwork. The 66th Annual Appleton Flag Day Parade

The 66th Annual Appleton Flag Day Parade will pay tribute to the United States Air Force and the many faces of freedom. The oldest Flag Day Parade in the nation is scheduled for Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. This year’s parade theme is “Let Freedom Ring”. The event will feature military units and military marching bands from throughout the nation. It will include about 100 total units consisting of veterans' organizations, drum and bugle corps, scout troops, patriotic floats, decorated vehicles, walking units and area marching bands. Music on the Green: Allouez Village Band

This familiar local concert band with 75 members from northeast Wisconsin performs monthly at the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay and many other events in the Green Bay area. Dedication to new bridge at Brown County Park

Community is welcome to attend a huge new bridge dedication happening at the Brown County Park of WayMorr in southern Brown County. A new walking/handicap bridge was just constructed to cross the Branch River along with a new concrete pathway on each side of the river. Come check out all the stones with names on that helped donate to this huge project. Bring your own lawn chairs to listen to some free music in the park afterward. Then come get your free ice cream that will be served by the WayMorr Lions Club members. There will be food to purchase from the WayMorr Youth Sports. Jordan Feliz's debut project, Beloved, brings the rich influence of 70's sensibilities into a modern pop context. Intentionally constructing uncluttered tracks free of production tricks and excessive instrumentation, Jordan instead focused on arrangements that were designed to give the vocals center stage. Operation Migration

Navarino Wildlife Area has a large population of Sandhill Cranes, and occasionally a Whooping Crane. Joe Duff (Operation Migration Co-founder, CEO & former pilot) will present a program at Navarino Nature Center on Whooping Cranes.
