The 4th Annual Little Hearts For Life Corn Roast

Little Hearts For Life is a nonprofit organization that was formed by several area families after their children were diagnosed with Congenital Heart Defects. We've learned that 1 in 100 children are born each year with some form of the disease. Congenital Heart Defects are the most common form of birth defects and the leading cause of birth defect related deaths. Twice as many children die each year from Congenital Heart Defects than all of pediatric cancers combined. Yet funding for research has always been limited. Those of us impacted by Congenital Heart Defects realized this and wanted a way to support further research projects. We can do this with help from our community, the same community that helped us when we needed it. It is our hope that children with Congenital Heart Defects will not only live longer lives, but may also have opportunities available to them due to research fundraisers like this one. Please come and enjoy the afternoon with us at the 4 Annual Little Hearts For Life Corn Roast.… Sunday, August 10, 2014, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
