Lecture: Invasive Species in Wisconsin and Ways to Control Them.

Upcoming Events at UW-M/WC Paul Skawinski, the Regional Aquatic Invasive Species Education Specialist with the Golden Sands Resources Conservation & Development Office, will be speaking about the control of Purple Loosestrife and other invasive species in Wisconsin. The presentation will be from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18, in room 131 in the Connector Building at UW-Marshfield/Wood County, 2000 W. 5th St. Marshfield. Skawinski will also be talking about the use of beetles to control this invasive plant and a mapping and monitoring system that is in place.
