Help for Sign Up For Event

If you received an email invitation to sign up for the event, your name is already listed here.

If you clicked a Sign Up or Wait List button on a website calendar, type your name in the space provided.

If you're signing up to attend the event by clicking a Sign Up or Wait List button on a calendar, type your email address in the space provided.

Note When you sign up to attend an event, your email address is made available to the event organizer.

If you see this option, you're signing up for an event that is part of a repeating series. For example, a class is often a repeating series that consists of several events that occur weekly.

You have three options when signing up for a repeating series.

• Only this event Select to respond only to the event listed on the event registration page.
• Same response for all events Select to respond to the current and all subsequent events in the repeating series in the same way. This option allows you to accept or decline several events in the series with just one click.

  Note If you're responding to an open invitation on a public calendar and you want to attend the entire series, be sure to locate the first event in the series before you click the Sign Up button.

• Each event individually Select if you want to attend some events in the series but not others. You'll be presented with a list of the current and subsequent events in the series and you can respond to each individually.

You see this message if the event organizer set a registration limit, which has been met. You may have the option of adding your name to a waiting list.

You see this message if the event organizer set a registration deadline and that deadline has passed. You won't be able to sign up for the event.

This information describes the event for which you are signing up. The event information you see may not look exactly like this information. The event organizer decides what information to list about an event.

Type a comment related to your response to the event. For example, you might let the event organizer know that you'll be arriving ten minutes late. Keep in mind that if the event organizer chooses to make the response list available (see Status (response list) below), everyone else who responds sees your comment.

Select if you do not want to receive any future email messages related to changes in the time, location, or other information about this event.

Select whether you plan to attend or decline the event, or select Tentative if you might attend.

Note You won't see Tentative if the event organizer set a registration limit with a waiting list.

You see this option if the event organizer thinks it's fine if people who attend bring others along. For example, the event might be a company picnic to which employees can bring partners and children. Select the number of others that you plan to bring with you.

If the event organizer elected to make the response list available to everyone who signs up for the event, you'll see the response list under Status. The list shows you who else has responded, how they responded, and any comments the repondents made.

Click this button after you have completed the rest of the form. Clicking Respond sends your name, email address, and other response information to the event organizer.

If you already responded to the event, type your name and email address, and then click this button to see your original responses. You can change the responses and then click Respond to modify your original response.
