Select a time period for your Trumba email

When you send Trumba® Connect calendar email, whether it's one-time or a scheduled, digest email, you can select a time period of events to include in the messages.

How Trumba Connect calculates time periods

Calendar email sends events in calendar time periods. Month time periods are by calendar month. Week time periods are based on the day that your week starts. You set this day on the Calendar Settings page.

For example, if your week starts on Sunday, the time period for a week is Sunday–Saturday.

What events are sent

• If you send calendar email on the first day of a time period, Trumba Connect sends events starting from that day through the end of the time period.
• If the day you send calendar email is not the first day of a time period, Trumba Connect sends events starting from the first day of the next time period.

1. Sunday is the first day of the week time period.
2. If Next two weeks' events email is sent to distribution list on this day…
3. …the email message contains events starting from this day (start of the next time period)…
4. …through this day (end of the second calendar week).

Likewise, if you send the next month's events on any day other than the first, the email will contain events starting from the first day of the next month through the end of that month.

Note If you send email on the first day of a time period, and some events on that day have already occurred, they will still be included in the email.

What else is sent

In addition to the time period you specify, Trumba Connect sends a preview of the following time period.

See your email before you send it

At the bottom of the page on which you select the time period to send, you can see a preview of what your email will look like. If you select a different time period, click Refresh Preview to see the new settings.

What is customizeable in email

Currently you cannot customize which events get sent based on the time period you choose. However, you can customize some style attributes of the email that is sent. Tell me more about customizing email.
