Change calendar view names in the View Chooser spudYou can customize the names of the calendar views that appear in the View Chooser spud to make it clearer to site visitors what to expect when they choose a view. This topic explains:
What the View Chooser spud isYou embed a View Chooser spud into the same page on your website where you embed the main calendar spud to allow site visitors to change calendar views.
For example, in this View Chooser spud, visitors can choose from among fifteen different ways to display events. How do I set up the views site visitors can choose? Why you might change a calendar view nameIn some cases, the default calendar view names might not mean much to your site visitors. For example, Performance Schedule view is an especially helpful view for calendars that contain repeating events, such as classes. In Performance Schedule view, all occurrences of one class are grouped together.
This picture shows a Yoga class event in Performance Schedule view. Having all class occurrences listed in one place allows site visitors to immediately see how many times the class meets and quickly add all of the sessions to their personal calendars. The view name, Performance Schedule, however, doesn't help site visitors anticipate what they will see when they choose that view. To make the view name that appears in the View Chooser spud more meaningful, you might want to change it to something similar to "Group repeating events".
This View Chooser spud shows the new name for the Performance Schedule calendar view.
