Trumba messages treated as spam

If you know you have a valid email address in a distribution list for a recipient who is still not receiving your calendar and event emails, it's most likely because the Trumba messages are being treated as spam.

These recipients can take a couple of actions:

  • Look in their junk email folders

Many email clients, such as MSN® Hotmail®, Google™ Gmail, and Yahoo!™ Mail, include a folder where email messages that might be spam are automatically stored.

Recipients should check the spam folder (called Junk E-mail in Hotmail, Spam in Gmail, and Bulk in Yahoo Mail) to see if it contains Trumba messages. If the messages are there, by marking them as "not spam", recipients will receive messages from Trumba in the future.

  • Add Trumba to their email whitelists

Some Internet Service Providers, such as MindSpring, automatically reject messages that might be spam. Recipients who use these ISPs will have to follow instructions for adding these Trumba domains to their email whitelists:

    • trumba.com
    • corp.trumba.com

Tip If the ISP requires an email address instead of a domain, the address to add is support@corp.trumba.com.
