The Falls on the Colorado Museum features the work of Iraqi-born artist Mhmood Goyani of Marble Falls from July 14 through Aug. 16. The exhibit includes paintings that reflect life in Central Texas and Iraq. Goyani was recently featured in an article by The Picayune Magazine. The museum is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Admission is free. Learn more about the exhibit at fallsmuseum.org.

“Canvas and Quilts: The Art of Ira and Kathy Kennedy”

The Llano Fine Art Guild and Gallery presents “Canvas and Quilts: The Art of Ira and Kathy Kennedy” through Sept. 28. The exhibit features Ira’s unique dot paintings, which convey the connection between people and nature, and Kathy’s kaleidoscopic quilts that use fabric panels of her husband’s art along with her own designs inspired by the natural world. An opening reception is June 28 at 6:30 p.m. The gallery is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
