| | Description | Join us for an exciting and informative event all about food waste and how we can prevent it! Achieving Community Transformation (ACT) is partnering with Environmental Sustainability to hold a food waste prevention workshop to provide students with the understanding of the impact of food waste and its effects on the environment and communities. The event will start with a viewing of the documentary Just Eat It a Food Waste Story and conclude with guest speaker Karen May from King County Solid Waste Division, facilitating an interactive discussion. This workshop will look at where our food comes from and provide useful tips for food waste prevention. Recology will be tabling at the event. No registration is required.
