This event will discuss how transformative justice and abolitionist frameworks provide respond to campus based violences in ways that aim to avoid reproducing the racialized and gendered practices of institutional securitization and policing. A panelist of faculty, activists, and scholars will each speak on the topic and an engaged and collaborative discussion will follow. |
