Don Mee Choi is the author of The Morning News Is Exciting (Action Books, 2010), Hardly War (Wave Books, 2016), a chapbook, Petite Manifesto (Vagabond Press, 2014), and a pamphlet of essays, Freely Frayed, ㅋ=q, Race=Nation (Wave Pamphlet #9, 2014). She has received a Whiting Award, Lannan Literary Fellowship, and Lucien Stryk Translation Prize. Her most recent translation of Kim Hyesoon’s poetry are Poor Love Machine (Action Books, 2016) and Autobiography of Death (New Directions, Nov 2018). IAS Faculty member, Sarah Dowling, is the author of two books of poetry, DOWN (Coach House, 2014) and Security Posture (Snare, 2009), which received the Robert Kroetsch Award for Innovative Poetry. Sarah has also published three chapbooks: US (The Elephants, 2018), Entering Sappho (above/ground, 2017), and Birds & Bees (TrollThread, 2012). Sarah teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics at the University of Washington Bothell. Nicole McCarthy is an experimental writer who earned her MFA from the University of Washington Bothell. Her work has appeared in Glass: a Journal of Poetry, The Shallow Ends, Dream Pop Press, Memoir Mixtapes, Crab Fat Magazine, Ghost Proposal, FLAPPERHOUSE, Tinderbox Poetry, The Fem, Civil Coping Mechanism's A Shadow Map anthology, and forthcoming in The Offing and the 2018 Best American Experimental Writing anthology from Wesleyan University Press.
