Career Services and the School of IAS invite juniors and seniors in IAS majors to join us for a career trek to two local employers, the City of Seattle and Downtown Emergency Service Center on April 12, from 11:30am-5:30pm. City of Seattle Departments include: - Seattle Police Department
- Department of Neighborhoods
- Customer Service Bureau
- The Mayor's Office - Innovation & Performance, Budget, Policy
We will provide all transportation from campus to and from these organizations. Space is limited to the first 20 registrants. If registration fills, a waitlist will be created. Not only will you get to hear about what it is like to work at these organizations, including about various functions and roles, but you will get the opportunity to network with staff, receive career/industry related advice, and an overview of their recruitment process.
