Join Dr. Kristin Gustafson’s BIS 499 students for a conversation with alum Daniel Lee and learn how he’s navigated the tech sector and used his IAS degree. REGISTER here! Daniel Lee (Community Psychology, ’17) is a Senior User Experience Researcher at Expedia Group where he supports multiple lines of business, including Flights, Cruise, and Brand Cohesiveness. He is also a second-year student in the Human-Centered Design and Engineering master’s program at UW Seattle. Daniel began his career in computer systems while in the U.S. Air Force, and at one time, managed over 500 network servers across his base. After serving, he spent nine years managing a usability lab at Microsoft, which cemented his passion for user research and design. Mentor Chats are designed to assist students with career exploration, networking, and learning about a range of professional trajectories.
