PEBB’s Open Enrollment – What You Can Do During Open Enrollment The PEBB open enrollment from November 1-30, 2018 is your opportunity to make changes that will take effect on January 1, 2020, including: Medical and Dental - Make changes to your medical and dental plan elections
- Add/remove dependents
- Enroll in a medical plan if you’ve previously waived coverage
- Waive enrollment in PEBB medical coverage (if you have or are enrolling other employer-based group medical insurance, TRICARE, or Medicare)
- Change your election under the state’s premium payment plan
- Re-attest for the Tobacco Use surcharge and Spousal surcharge
Optional Benefits - Enroll or re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)*
- Enroll or re-enroll in the Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP)
- *If you elect a consumer-directed health plan (CDHP-HSA), you are ineligible for a FSA.
PEBB plan changes for 2020 The Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) approved a number of changes to PEBB Program rules, policies, benefits, and premiums that will go into effect on January 1, 2020.
