Join us for the annual Seattle Human Rights Day event with undergraduate student poster presentations and speakers who will be focusing on the theme of "missing and murdered indigenous people" (MMIP). A report published by the Seattle Indian Health Board identified 45 cases of missing or murdered indigenous women since 1943—more than in any other city studied. Read the report at this link.

6:00 pm - Main event This event will take place in the evening at Seattle Town Hall (1119 8th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101). Please join us for an evening amplifying the voices of missing and murdered Indigenous people and the intersectional issues that contribute to our Native people going missing and being murdered at the highest demographic than any other ethnicity. It will be a night of amazing panelists and speakers touching on these topics, families speaking out about their experiences, and discussion of the work folks are doing to combat this issue of MMIP.
