Day 4: Pathways to maximizing your credits & parallel major planning Thursday, October 22 // 4 PM - 5 PMWhat is the "right major" to help you achieve your career goals? Often, students who want to work for a tech company or become a programmer think Computer Science is the only "right major" to help them get there. Or, students who want to work in a business field would traditionally think they have to major in Business. But—in reality—that's not the case. Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (IAS) majors may actually help you better prepare for your career by teaching you the "soft skills" you'll need to succeed, not just the technical expertise. In this session you'll learn the different pathways and possibilities you can take to achieve your career goals. *Great for students who have already earned a lot of credits*
