REGISTER on Zoom now! Kylani Arrington (Community Psychology ’13) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Redmond, WA. In addition to her B.A. from UW Bothell, she holds an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (’19) from Antioch University Seattle. She works with teens and adult clients experiencing a range of mental health issues; such as anxiety, complex trauma, transgender issues, and even death planning/acceptance. Kylani's strongest passion as a mental health clinician is to enhance and improve the lives of her clients, especially through the work of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and rewiring neural connections via Lifespan Integration Therapy. A strong therapeutic rapport and humor is essential to her work and she loves to show clients that therapy doesn't look like it does in the movies! Jonathon Friedman (Culture, Literature & the Arts ’09) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and serves as a School Counselor at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences. Previously, he worked as a clinical intern and staff therapist at Catholic Community Services of Western Washington and provided therapeutic support to youth, adults, and families in private practice. In addition to his B.A. from UW Bothell, he holds an M.A. in Psychology from Saybrook University. Lindsey Grimm (Community Psychology; Society, Ethics & Human Behavior ’15) is a behavior technician and trainer at Autism Learning Partners, where she applies behavioral interventions for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and recruits, interviews, and trains new behavior technicians in the Seattle and Everett regions. Her desire to work in in the psychology field, and specifically counselling and therapy, led her to an entry-level position at Autism Learning Partners where she learned the fundamentals of data collection, behavior interventions, and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). *** Mentor Chats are designed to assist students with career exploration, networking, and learning about a range of professional trajectories.
